Meet Eddie Dwayne

----  Several years ago, in an early and inadvertant crowd-sourcing experiment, I created a character. Eddie Dwayne Wayne was inspired by a classified ad in a local shopper for a Camaro (or Trans-Am, I'm not sure which) with monster truck tires. Representing rural Western Pennsylvania, Eddie Dwayne would live via MySpace blog (this was back in the not-so-distant day). Friends would be able to log in and contribute to his story. Save for someone occasionally changing an embedded song or tacky page theme, this didn't exactly happen. I maintained the blog until the inspiration ran out. I hope it returns; every time I revisit Eddie Dwayne, I think to myself "this is f'ing genius." Eddie not just predates, he's far superior to "Greg and Donny," self-proclaimed yinzer ambassadors to the wider world. Read On
